— Former WWE star and announcer JBL has posted a new blog at TheBermudian.com. In the blog, JBL talks about his ongoing quest to climb the “Seven Summits”. After his latest attempt fell short, he’s been working on training and getting into the best physical shape possible. He said:
“I can’t control the weather, I can only control me being ready to climb. I weighed 245 pounds this morning and my goal is to get below 220 pounds for Aconcagua to help which would put me the lowest I have been since being a teenager. As an example I regularly wrestled at over 300 pounds during my career at WWE with my peak around 330 pounds. My end goal for Mt Everest in spring of 2014 is to get down to around 200 pounds.”

“In route to Orlando for NXT & sitting across aisle from me is a man named Sting…not the rocker…my old friend since 1986. @wwe #SauceIt @Sting & I enjoying talking good old days working 4 Bill Watts. We learned a great deal working for Bombastic Bill. Nice @AmericanAir flight, @Sting still calls me Rossy. Some things never change..luckily. I’m so blessed that we were on the same flight bound for Orlando. @NXT @WWE”
