JR’s SummerSlam Plans Revealed, NXT Event Tonight, More

— WWE NXT will hold a house show tonight at the Tampa Arena in Tampa, Florida. There are currently 8 matches scheduled and the show begins at 7PM.

— Starting this weekend, AAA will begin airing the TripleMania event over on luchalibreaaa.com. The show will air in three, one-hour parts. TNA stars Jeff Jarrett, Kurt Angle, Karen Jarrett and Abyss all appeared on the event. The first one-hour block will air on Sunday.

— Steve Austin and CM Punk are scheduled for a sit-down interview with Jim Ross this weekend in Los Angeles to promote the new WWE ’13 video game. Jim Ross posted the following today… “Just landed at LAX..going to sit down w/ a MR Austin & Mr Punk to discuss WWE13 ATTITUDE. Should be memorable,”

— Jim Ross also noted via Twitter that he and his wife will be attending Mick Foley’s comedy show on Sunday night in Los Angeles at the Improv. The show takes place immediately following SummerSlam and numerous WWE talents are expected to be in attendance.
