WWE’s New Show Debuts This Saturday + SD Rating Is In

— WWE’s Top 50 Greatest Finishers releases tomorrow on DVD and Blu-Ray.

— WWE will next be in LA for a house show on January 18th at the STAPLES Center. The pre-sale password for the show is LARaw; the presale is ongoing.

— Last Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown drew a 1.92 (1.9) cable rating, with 2.61 million viewers. The show was even in the ratings with last week and down 4% from last week in overall viewers. The show ranked #6 in viewers among cable shows for the night, #1 among teen males and #2 among adult males behind Gold Rush on Discovery Channel. The demo ratings were largely similar, with the only change being a 0.05 decline among adults 18 – 34. The males 18 – 49 demo was up 0.02.

— WWE will have two shows on network television this Saturday. The company’s new kids-oriented show Saturday Morning Slam will make its debut on The CW at 10 AM, while NBC will air their WrestleMania 28 special that highlights the Rock vs. John Cena at 9 PM EST.

The promotion has already taped the matches for Saturday Morning Slam before RAW and SmackDown in the last couple weeks.
