— Matt Morgan is now back with TNA following an appearance last weekend at a house show in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. As noted earlier, Morgan was contacted at one point by WWE, but the company is not signing anyone from TNA at the moment due to the ongoing lawsuit. The impression many had was that his departure was legit at first, but then they started preparing for his return as of about two months ago.
— Jeff Hardy’s contract with TNA expires this February as we previously reported. Speculation among the wrestling media this week seemed to suggest this is why Hardy will challenge Austin Aries for the TNA Championship at next month’s Bound for Glory PPV in what could lead to a potential run with the title to get him to agree to a new deal. Hardy had expressed in the past that he had no interest in going back to WWE after they publicly mocked his legal problems.
— Jose Canseco recently tweeted to TNA President Dixie Carter, “Still waiting for Bruce Prichard’s phone call. I’m ready.”
