DirecTV had some issues with their Summerslam feeds going out several times during the show. Comcast also apparently had issues with their HD broadcast.
The TNA street team handed out free Sting masks outside the Staples Center. The goal was obviously to get fans to wear them during Summerslam. TNA was also promoting the October Bound for Glory PPV which will be in Irvine, CA.
As noted earlier here on the website, Beth Phoenix won a 15-Diva Battle Royal prior to SummerSlam. This match will be included on the Summerslam DVD as an extra.
