— WWE NXT star Xavier Woods worked weekend WWE live events, losing to Tensai in squash matches. Woods apparently received a good reaction from the crowd. Woods is formally known as “Consequences Creed” in TNA and on the indy scene.
— Dean Ambrose also worked weekend live events, losing to Santino Marella via the cobra. Before the match, Ambrose cut a heel promo talking about how WWE is afraid to put him on the main roster and their TV shows.
— As previously noted here on the website, indy women’s wrestler Mercedes KV worked last weekend’s NXT live events as a ring announcer. In an update on her status with the company, she made her in-ring debut at last Thursday night’s NXT live event in Tampa, FL. Mercedes teamed with Audrey Marie to defeat the team of Paige and Emma. Regarding the in-ring debut, Mercedes KV tweeted: “First match @NXT so blessed and thankful for this opportunity!”
