Backstage Updates: ‘Taker’s WWE Future + Punk vs. Ryback?

— As noted earlier here on the website, WWE is not yet sure about pulling the trigger on a world title match between CM Punk and Ryback despite the build that is currently going on. There is also discussion of Ryback facing The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXIX. The goal with that is to give Ryback a “rub” of sorts by having him work with a legend like The Undertaker. However, people within WWE are also not sure if Undertaker will even work WrestleMania next year.

— With the dramatic finish to Undertaker’s match at least year’s WrestleMania with Triple H and his wife Michelle McCool recently giving birth to their first child, it’s unknown yet if Undertaker will return to work WrestleMania again as we reported above. WWE had originally planned for a legendary type wrestler to compete on the show next year and start building to a match starting at Survivor Series. Many within WWE think ‘Taker ultimately will wrestle at next year’s WrestleMania, but it’s still marked as uncertain. It will ultimately be up to the Undertaker and not Vince McMahon.
