— JBL is on commentary with Josh Matthews this week for SmackDown. Michael Cole is off SmackDown for this week at least because he is the lead announcer for WWE Main Event. Whether this will become a long-term situation or not isn’t known.
— As previously reported, Ric Flair is at the center of the lawsuit between WWE and TNA. Flair will not be brought back in by WWE until the lawsuit between WWE and TNA is settled. It is thought that Flair would have signed already if it was not for the lawsuit, and that he will eventually rejoin the company.
