— In an update on 2 WWE performers who have recently gone on the shelf due to injuries, Alex Riley, who underwent arthroscopic knee & elbow surgery 6 weeks ago, is now starting to be able to train in the ring for an eventual return.
In regards to Derrick Bateman, who was recently injured in a Saturday Morning Slam match with United States Champion Antonio Cesaro, Bateman underwent knee surgery earlier this week. There was been no word on the severity of the surgery as of this writing.
Finally, speaking of Cesaro, he is said to have been wrestling recently with a broken hand.
— Jason Hoch, who was WWE’s Senior Vice President of Digital Operations, has left company to take the job as Senior Vice President of Customer Strategy and Product Marketing for the company Echo.
Hoch was a big advocate of social media and was instrumental in helping WWE win Mashable awards for strategizing their spending of social media resources over the last 2 years.
