JR Not At The Royal Rumble + Wade Barrett’s Yearly Joke

Jim Ross is currently battling the flu and will not be able to call the Royal Rumble on Sunday night. Ross updated his condition on his Twitter account earlier:

“The flu is a bear. Trip to hospital last nite for chest x-ray. Back to Dr’s ofc this am for results & to eliminate pneumonia as possibility.”

— Wade Barrett tweeted the following on Wednesday night:

Just bumped into Papa Shango at Hooters. Told me he’s entering the @WWE #RoyalRumble this year. Can’t wait, one of my faves.

This is a yearly joke that Barrett plays on the fans. There are zero plans for Papa Shango to appear at the Royal Rumble.
