— Ryback noted in a recent interview that Vince McMahon killed the “Big Hungry” nickname that he was starting to use.

— Giant Baba passed away on this date in 1999, at the age of 61, due to cancer. Baba is a former NWA champion, and started All Japan Pro Wrestling in 1972.

— There are no classic pro wrestling shows scheduled for ESPN Classic tonight.

— The WWE SmackDown taping on April 16th, 2013 has been moved to the Thompson-Boling Arena at the University Of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee. It’s original venue was the Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, North Carolina.

— WWE has added Bruiser Brody to the Alumni section.
