— WWE and Paramount Pictures have announced via press release that they are partnering to promote two of the Rock’s upcoming films. The company will continue to promote Paramount’s G.I. Joe: Retaliation, which got heavy promotion during Elimination Chamber and Raw, while hype for Pain & Gain will start around WrestleMania before its theatrical release in April.
The press release notes, “Pain & Gain will have a major presence at WrestleMania 29 at MetLife Stadium on Sunday, April 7, and at WrestleMania Axxess, a four-day interactive WWE fan experience at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, N.J., from Thursday, April 4 to Sunday, April 7.”
