Backstage Update: Rey Mysterio’s Injury & Surgery?

Rey Mysterio has been told he will not have to have surgery on his knee and can continue to wrestle using a special brace. Rey originally told WWE that he would need surgery, but Triple H sent him to Dr. James Andrews who said he could wrestle without it.

It’s still expected that Rey will not return anytime soon. His knee is in bad shape and although WWE wants him back, he is considered a company guy for life and is being given as much time as he needs to heal.
