For what it’s worth, John Cena is dating Nikki Bella in real-life while Daniel Bryan is dating Brie Bella in real-life. Since leaving WWE, The Bella Twins haven’t been doing much besides appearing at a few conventions here and there. It’s very possible the duo returned to be closer to their boyfriends. With the brutal WWE travel schedule, the couples don’t get to see each other as often as they’d like.
