According to sources, there were major WWE creative changes made around this year’s WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view. Vince McMahon hasn’t been pleased with the booking of WWE’s undercard talents for months now. This is one of the main reasons Eric Pankowski was fired several weeks ago.
To update the rumors on Rey Mysterio possibly leaving WWE, word now is that he may actually be looking to be released and WWE is considering granting it if they can keep merchandise rights. Other sources note that the company wants him to stay and will do everything they need to do in order to keep him from leaving. It all depends on who you believe.
