— The announced attendance for WrestleMania 29 was 80,676 fans. On the WrestleMania 29 pre-show, they used the 87,000 figure for attendance. Before whatever few seats were opened for production a week ago, the real figure was just over 70,000. On the broadcast, Michael Cole used an “almost 80,000” so they’ve got signals crossed. Later in the show, they announced the 80,676 figure. Sigh.
— Despite being advertised, Brodus Clay, Tensai & The Funkadactyls vs. Cody Rhodes, Damien Sandow & The Bella Twins never took place at WrestleMania 29. This is likely due to timing issues. You’ve got to feel bad for guys (and girls) like this …. they go into WrestleMania expecting to go out in front of 80,000 fans and then basically get screwed.
