— On the WrestleMania 29 pre-show, The Miz defeated Wade Barrett to win the WWE Intercontinental Title. This had been planned for quite some time.

— John Cena defeated The Rock to win the WWE Title during the WrestleMania 29 main event.

— As noted earlier here on the website and despite being advertised, Brodus Clay, Tensai & The Funkadactyls vs. Cody Rhodes, Damien Sandow & The Bella Twins never took place at WrestleMania 29. This is likely due to timing issues. You’ve got to feel bad for guys (and girls) like this …. they go into WrestleMania expecting to go out in front of 80,000 fans and then basically get screwed.
