WWE has reported in their 10-Q quarterly report, which was filed today, that they have entered into an agreement to purchase a new corporate jet for $27.5 million. Once the transaction is complete, additional improvements and taxes would run the final cost to $31-32 million.
The new jet is a 2006 Bombardier Bombardier Global 5000 jet, and will replace the WWE’s current plane, which is a 1998 Canadair Challenger that the company has owned since 2001. Once the purchase of the Bombardier Bombardier is complete, WWE will look to sell the Canadair Challenger.
