WWE was forced to cut time from the final two matches at WWE Payback last night due to timing issues. The Daniel Bryan & Randy Orton vs. Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns and Ryback vs. John Cena matches were given less time than originally scheduled due to the time constraints.
This is the reason they rushed straight from the Chris Jericho vs. CM Punk match into the tag-team title match. As soon as Punk made his way out of the arena, The Shield’s music hit and Rollins and Reigns made their way down through the crowd very quickly. The talents in the tag-team match were all told to “rush” down to the ring so the match could get started as soon as possible.
They also didn’t air the tag-team title match hype videos that had been planned.
