It’s clear from his tweets that he was unaware that he was going to be released. As noted, Striker is now available for appearances and independent bookings at ForMattStriker@gmail.com. There is no word on if this is the first of more releases. Stay tuned!

WWE.com has learned that WWE has chosen to not renew Matt Striker’s contract. As of today, June 20, 2013, Striker will no longer be working with WWE.
