George Clooney & Stacy Keibler Split Over The Phone

TMZ.com reports that George Clooney and Stacy Keibler ended their relationship over the phone while Clooney was in Europe working on a movie and Keibler was in Los Angeles working on a new TV show. The two had been growing apart for the past three months. With Clooney set to stay in Berlin until December, Keibler decided she couldn’t go long distance for five more months, the two talked it out and agreed to go their separate ways.

A source said: “Both sides realized there is no way to have a relationship when you don’t see each other. He was very respectful, adult about the situation … he reminded Stacy that they were friends before they dated and wants to be friends after.”

The reports that Keibler wanting kids led to the end of the relationship are not true.

But with Clooney scheduled to remain in Berlin until December — Stacy decided she couldn’t do the long distance for another 5 months.

We’re told the two talked out the situation like adults — and both agreed going their separate ways was best.

There are reports that Stacy was pushing GC for kids and that’s why the relationship fizzled — but we’re told that couldn’t be further from the truth.
