UK promotion Preston City Wrestling have announced that Riddick Bowe will be making his professional wrestling debut for them next year. As you may recall, Bowe announced last month that he is looking to make the transition to professional wrestling, wanting to be the first person to hold World titles in both wrestling and boxing. The announcement stated that his first match will be on March 1st, 2014 and that Bowe will appear for the promotion on February 28th for his final contract signing.
PCW owner Steven Fludder said in the release, “This is an exciting coup for Preston City Wrestling. Riddick Bowe is one of the greatest heavyweight boxers of all time and has been training hard to make the transition to the wrestling ring.”
