Batista Not The Original Choice For Evolution, Tensai/WWE

— As noted earlier here on the website, prior to re-signing with WWE, Tensai was making a reported $100,000 a year working for New Japan Pro Wrestling. WWE offered him $400,000 a year to return to WWE, which he accepted according to Japanese media.

— As noted earlier, WWE developmental talent Kendall Skye, a former All-American athlete, professional dancer, martial artist and Hollywood stuntwoman, has been added to the NXT roster on WWE.com. She has mostly been a ring announcer at NXT live events, wrestling on a limited basis at non-televised house shows.

— In the Triple H DVD “Thy Kingdom Come”, Triple H revealed that Batista was not the first choice for Evolution. Mark Jindrak, who wrestles in Mexico as Marco Corleone, was originally set to be the fourth member and even filmed vignettes with him. Batista ended up taking his spot.
