Update: The WWE Network Launch Date?

UPDATE: WWE sent TPWW.net the following statement this morning in regards to the launch of the WWE Network:

“As discussed on WWE’s last earnings call, we continue to aggressively pursue the launch of a WWE Network in 2014 via traditional and non-traditional distribution models; however no launch date has been confirmed.”

ORIGINAL: WWE’s long planned cable could debut as early as early next year, according to sources within the sports-entertainment organization. One source specifically states that a target date is set for February 24, 2013, which is the day after the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event.

While the date has yet to be confirmed by a second source, people in WWE are working under the assumption that the WWE Network will be launched within the first quarter of next year.
