Backstage Update: Layla’s WWE Status

Following WWE running the seven on seven Divas match at Survivor Series and then again on RAW, many are wondering where former WWE Divas champion Layla was and why she wasn’t used for the match.

At this time, all that is known is that she has been off TV for the last few months. We can now confirm that it is not injury related. There is no word on when she will return from her hiatus.

We’ll keep you posted as we hear more.

ORIGINAL: Layla has not been on WWE TV since September, leading to speculation that she may have an injury. She has had knee problems over the past few years that kept her off of TV. The 7 on 7 Divas match at Survivor Series doesn’t include her and she didn’t make the European tour.
