WWE was discussing the idea of turning Tons of Funk heel, along with The Funkadactyls (Cameron and Naomi). However, with Total Divas being renewed for a second season, the show’s production company reportedly put pressure on WWE not to turn the Funkadactyls heel because the show’s producers want the duo to remain likable on TV.
The current plan remains to turn Tensai and Brodus Clay heel in the near future to be featured as a top heel team in WWE.
