Despite lots of talk online amongst fans, the CM Punk situation is 100% not a work. Punk has been frustrated for quite some time now as we’ve been reporting and things finally boiled over at RAW on Monday. As we’ve been reporting, CM Punk and Vince McMahon are continuing to talk. It’s always possible that Punk and WWE will come to some sort of agreement and he’ll be back but he’s going to at least take an extended break to “clear his head.” It’s also possible that WWE could play the whole thing off as an angle if they do come to an agreement but we’d be surprised if CM Punk went along with that.
The reason WWE has not made any sort of statement regarding the CM Punk situation is due to the fact that they are trying to smooth things over. Despite this, the situation is said to be a serious one and WWE has pulled him for all live events including WrestleMania and AXXESS. The company is offering refunds as noted earlier.
Obviously fans are entitled to their opinions and there will be no convincing some that it’s not a work and that’s absolutely fine but we have 100% confirmed it’s the real deal. We’ll keep you guys posted as we hear more. Stay tuned.
Also, we want to hear from you! What do you think of the situation? Did CM Punk do the right thing by walking out? Is he right or wrong? Do you think he’ll eventually return? Let us know below in the comments section!
