Major Plans For SummerSlam + Christian Leaving WWE?

— The WWE Network is planning to do the same thing they did with WrestleMania 30 at this year’s WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view. That means we’ll see tons of backstage footage, Superstars being followed, AXXESS events, NXT matches and more.

— As of Friday afternoon, Christian was still not cleared to wrestle. There are many people who feel he’ll be leaving WWE sooner rather than later when his current contract expires. We’ll keep you posted as we hear more.

— As noted earlier, former WWE Superstar CM Punk is being advertised to appear on an upcoming episode of “Maron” on IFC. The episode is expected to air at some point in May when the new season debuts and he’ll be doing am interview with the host of the show – comedian Mark Maron.

— For what it’s worth, there is talk of doing a three-way women’s tryout camp at the WWE Performance Center during the month of June. We hope to have more on this shortly.
