Royalties Lawsuit Against WWE Ends in Settlement

The lawsuit filed by both Marcus Bagwell (Buff Bagwell) and Scott Levy (Raven) against the WWE in regards to claims of unpaid royalties was recently settled out of court, according to the Wrestling Observer.

The Observer’s Dave Meltzer reported the lawsuit was settled on December 7th after a counter-suit by the WWE against Raven was rejected due to the statue of limitations passing and another counter-suit lead to depositions issued to both Buff Bagwell and Raven. As terms of the settlement, WWE drops all of their counter-suits, WWE retains the right to refile their lawsuit against Raven if he ever sues the company again in regards to contractual issues, and neither Buff Bagwell nor Raven received any monetary compensation.
