Update:
Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported that his sources stated that Veer Mahaan and Sanga were also among the talent who were released on Friday.
WWE released a new batch of talent this evening with at least three known main roster and NXT talents confirmed to have been released so far.
Jinder Mahal announced on Twitter that he is no longer in WWE and claimed that he had “quit” the company. In an update to his bio, Mahal revealed that he will become an official free agent in 90 days.

Besides Mahal, Xia Li also announced on Twitter that she is no longer in the company.
In regards to NXT developmental talent, Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported that Xyon Quinn was also among those released by WWE tonight.
Sapp reported that his sources stated that they had not heard of WWE officials sending an internal memo to talent beforehand informing them of the newest round of talent cuts that were going to be made. Sapp also reported that those spoken to confirmed that Mahal did not actually quit and instead was released.
Prior to their departures, Mahal had been with WWE since July of 2016 for his current stint with the company. Li had been with WWE since January of 2017 and Quinn had been with WWE since May of 2018.
