WWE: Rock Says He Won’t Be at ‘Mania, NA Title Design, McIntyre Update

The Rock Says He Won’t Be at WrestleMania

The Rock was interviewed by Chris Van Vliet and when asked if he would be at WrestleMania, said, “You will not see me there.” It was rumored that WWE originally hoped to get The Rock to be Ronda Rousey’s tag team partner in her match a while ago, but The Rock was not available. There was also a very shady rumor recently about WWE wanting The Rock to come in for some sort of segment with Elias, but then scrapping that idea.

I am in Los Angeles and just chatted with The Rock during the press junket for his new movie RAMPAGE. When I asked if we would see him in New Orleans this weekend, he replied “You will not see me there.”

He also talked about starring in DOOM and called the movie “the sh*ts”, discussed why RAMPAGE is a better video game movie and made fun of John Cena’s character in FERDINAND.

Drew McIntyre Ready to Return

Drew McIntyre, who suffered a torn bicep in November, is ready to return to the ring. Before his injury, it was rumored that he was just about ready to be called up to the main roster, so we’ll see what WWE does with him.

McIntyre was shown in a video bench pressing almost 400 pounds, which is apparently even more than he could do before he was injured.
