Trish Stratus is scheduled to be backstage at next week’s WWE TV tapings in Toronto for Raw. She has stated in recent interviews that she will be attending the show. Stratus normally attends all WWE events in Toronto and it is possible they will use her in some way on TV. She has also been updating a regular blog on the WWE Universe social networking website.
Former TNA X Division Champion and current New Japan talent Low Ki (Senshi) was backstage visiting at the TNA iMPACT! TV tapings Monday night in Orlando. Scott D’Amore was also there on Monday night and will make a cameo tonight on iMPACT!.
Here is a breakdown for the latest WWE and TNA television ratings courtesy of The Wrestling Observer and Figure Four Weekly Newsletters (F4WOnline.com):
TNA iMPACT! on 12/11 drew a final 1.2 cable rating (or a 1.16) with 1.6 million viewers. The show did a 0.86 in males 18-49, 0.57 in people 18-49, 0.94 in males 18-34 and 1.22 in males 12-17.
ECW on Sci Fi on 12/9 drew a final 1.2 cable rating with 1.5 million viewers. They did less viewers than TNA last week.
WWE Monday Night Raw on 12/8, which was a three-hour show, drew a final 3.0 cable rating (or a 3.01 rating) averaging 4.7 million viewers. First hour did a 2.7, while the second and third hours each averaged a 3.17. The show did a 2.06 in people 18-49 and a 2.69 in males 18-49. The average viewer was 34 with 65% of the audience being male.
WWE Friday Night Smackdown on 12/5 drew a final 2.1 broadcast rating. The Undertaker vs. Big Show Steel Cage match that night drew a 2.6 rating, which was the highest rated quarter hour in MyNetworkTV’s history.
