There are many rumors going around, regarding “unrest” in the ROH locker room. Some talents aren’t happy, due to the new deals being offered not including much, if any pay increase. There are also rumors that the health insurance that was once a part of the deal is being eliminated. When the talent sees Ric Flair and D Lo Brown brought in, and the company signing a new TV deal, they feel that they should be seeing some of that money.
Seven years ago today, ROH held their first event in Philadelphia.
ROH tapes their first 6-weeks of TV this Saturday and Sunday from the Arena in Philadelphia. Matches and participants announced are: ROH champion Nigel McGuinness vs. Jay Briscoe, Tyler Black vs. Jimmy Jacobs, plus Bryan Danielson, Kevin Steen, Austin Aries, Jerry Lynn, Chris Hero, Eddie Edwards, Kenny King, Rhett Titus, Brent Albright, Brodie Lee, Sara del Rey, Claudio Castagnoli, The Necro Butcher, Larry Sweeney, Sterling James Keenan, Dark City Fight Club and Cheech and Cloudy.
