WWE has released the preliminary numbers for the Judgment Day PPV on May 17. The show did an estimated 221,000 buys worldwide. It was not made clear how many of those buys were domestic, although the initial estimate was 128,000 to 135,000. This show was headlined by Edge vs. Jeff Hardy for the WWE World Title, John Cena vs. Big Show and Randy Orton vs. Batista for the WWE Title. This is down 12% from last year’s Judgment Day PPV which drew 251,000 buys worldwide with 165,000 buys being domestic.
