Even with the new information regarding the format of NXT, WWE still has yet to officially announce what the winner receives. One idea that has been discussed would have the winner receive a WWE RAW contract and the runner up receive a SmackDown! contract, but as you can imagine, nobody on SmackDown! likes the idea of WWE openly acknowledging that RAW is the superior brand. The actual concept of WWE’s new NXT show was explained last week revealing that rookies will be voted off and at the end there will be one winner who gets a WWE contract.
WWE decided against using interactive fan voting and that the coaches will vote instead, although they can’t vote for or against their own rookie.
