Total Xtreme Comedy Changes, Lucha Libre-MTV, Jericho News

Bruce Prichard will no longer be working the March 27th Total Xtreme Comedy event in Phoenix, Arizona. Mick Foley, Austin Aries and Colt Cabana are all appearing, and Steve Corino and Prince Nana have been added to the event.

According to their TV listings for the spring, MTV2 will be debuting a Lucha Libre series. Here is the official blurb on the show… “Lucha Libre” is the action-packed wrestling phenomenon from Mexico, with the beloved masked Luchadores, who inspired the blockbuster hit Jack Black movie “Nacho Libre.” MTV2 will tailor the pop culture classic adding its own MTV flair to this historically highly rated series, and bringing it to the US for the first time ever in English. The show is a joint project with MTV2 and MTV Tres, and will feature “repackaged AAA footage” along with English commentary.
