According to a backstage source, before last week’s round of talent cuts went down, the most recent set of drug test results had come in and there was at least one Wellness Policy violation. It was not specified who the violating party was, though, and WWE hasn’t made anything official.
Immediately following his release from World Wrestling Entertainment, Jimmy Wang Yang apparently referenced TNA in a tweet, writing: “Three strikes and you’re out. I hear Florida is a nice place to visit.”
There has been preliminary dialogue between both parties. While Yang had a lot of heat for how he left TNA to go to WWE several years ago, it’s said to be a thing of the past. Furthermore, he has past ties to Eric Bischoff. As of right now though, there is no deal in place.
