Dana White announced after UFC 113 that Paul Daley has been cut from the UFC. White was adamant about dumping Daley in the post-fight presser, saying, “He’ll never come back … I don’t care if he’s the best 170-pounder in the world. He’s never coming back here. There’s no excuse for that. You never hit a guy like that after the bell.”
After the final round of his fight with Josh Koscheck, Daley got up, followed Koscheck around and then sucker punched him several seconds after the fight was over. Referee Dan Miragliotta had to restrain Daley as Koscheck went to his corner.
