Ring of Honor’s last ROH on HDNet Tapings are this Friday and Saturday in Philadelphia, PA at the ECW Arena. They will carry the promotion through their contract in April, and will consist of the company’s first ever “Top Prospect” Tournament featuring some newer talents.
The Tournament’s first round will feature Adam Cole vs. Mike Bennett, Grizzly Redwood vs. Andy Ridge, Michael Elgin vs. Bobby Dempsey and Kyle O’Reilly vs. a new talent who has reportedly “never worked for ROH before.”
The Friday taping will also include Chris Hero vs. Kenny King and Rhett Titus vs. Claudio Castagnoli and Homicide vs. Mark Briscoe. Davey Richards is set for an in-ring interview and TV champion Christopher Daniels will defend his title.
Saturday’s taping will be a 4 PM matinee, and will be main evented by ROH champion Roderick Strong and ROH Tag Team Champions The Kings of Wrestling vs. Jay and Mark Briscoe and Davey Richards, TV champion Christopher Daniels defending his title against Kenny King and the finals of the “Top Prospect” tournament.
