WWE’s Senior Vice President of Partner Sales Joe DelGrosso hosted a conference call yesterday where he announced the WWE Diva Search would be returning.
— DelGrosso also noted that WWE would not be cutting back to 13 pay-per-view events per year as previously rumored. He noted that 13 WWE pay-per-views would be the “minimum” and hinted that they would actually be adding more.
— WWE is hoping to have SummerSlam take place from Los Angeles, California every single year. They like L.A because it’s their second biggest pay-per-view of the year and they have access to lots of celebrities.
— WWE is still looking for sponsors for WrestleMania 27. The sponsors get a five week period between Feb 28th – April 3rd.
— 7-Eleven, Slim Jim and Twix are all happy with their WWE advertising campaigns.
— DelGrosso ended the call with a slideshow which highlighted the Ad Age WWE endorsement.
