TNA is set to launch a new wrestling project. The company’s reason for hiring Dave Lagana is that he will be writing the project, which will be a weekly series for the Indian market and will not use the TNA brand name. The project will tape for a week in December and again for a week in January 2012. It was spearheaded by Jeff Jarrett and he will be on the creative team along with Lagana and Dutch Mantell.
Former referee Rudy Charles has been involved in the project’s roster, and have targeted a number of former WWE/TNA/WCW/ECW names as well as indy talents. Sonjay Dutt will also be involved, and ten Indian talents will be brought to the US to train as wrestlers for the series. It will air in India on The Colors Network. There is no word as to domestic distribution.
