— Yesterday, New Japan Pro Wrestling announced that they are bringing back their special two-day themed Lucha Libre shows combined with CMLL. The shows will take place at Korakuen Hall on January 21st and 22nd.
— Last night, former heavyweight boxing champion “Smokin'” Joe Frazier passed away at the age of 67 following a battle with liver cancer. Frazier was also involved in wrestling during his career, appearing as the special referee for the main event of the second ever Starrcade event in 1984 as well as working as the corner man for Mr. T’s boxing match against Roddy Piper at WrestleMania 2. Frazier was a regular at Philadelphia sports events, and even appeared at CZW’s Cage of Death 3.
— On November 19th, Melina returns to the ring for the Women’s Superstars Unleashed event in Deer Park, New York at the NYWC Sportatorium in Long Island.
