— As of last word, The Godfather was not expected to appear at the Royal Rumble despite Wade Barrett’s ongoing tweets. That could obviously change though. Apparently, Barrett has been joking for two years straight now about a possible Godfather appearance at the pay-per-view.

— Eugene tweeted and posted the following to Facebook Saturday night: Guess who is packing for a flight and the Royal Rumble is tomorrow???? No word on if that means he’ll be appearing in the Rumble match itself.

— As noted earlier, there are several “surprises” planned for the WWE Royal Rumble PPV. Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Road Warrior Animal and The Road Dogg are also expected for the Royal Rumble match. Road Dogg is expected to enter late in the match.
