— Ric Flair was mentioned during ESPN’s broadcast of the Sugar Bowl. Announcer Brad Nessler said that Virginia Tech’s David Wilson, was “stylin’ and profilin’ like my friend Ric Flair.” This ended up getting Flair’s name trending on Twitter.
Nessler actually has ties to pro wrestling, as he’s a good friend of Jim Ross and had dinner with Ross before calling Oklahoma Sooners football games.
