During today’s investor’s conference call, the status of WWE NXT and WWE Superstars was discussed. At this time, the future of the shows seems up in the air as WWE decides whether to continue holding back on the shows for the WWE Network launch or look into moving the shows back to cable TV in the US.
It was noted during the call that the there is a “great deal of demand” from cable TV partners for the shows. At this time, the shows airs in the US via WWE.com, Youtube and Hulu, but also air in International markets.
Vince McMahon noted that if the shows were to return to US TV that the shows could see format changes, although he did not reveal what the potential changes could be.
