Tuesday night on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno on NBC. Leno was doing a bit on Cats copying video clips. Leno said that if you watch wrestling you know how ridiculous it can be, as there are storylines where they go out of the ring. He started talking about a guy named Lesnar and asked his bandleader for help in correctly saying the name. He joked, “You see I’m such a big fan”.
They then showed a clip of Brock Lesnar pushing Zach Gowan down a flight of stairs. Leno said Brock had a pet cat too and showed a clip of a cat pushing another cat down stairs. Leno added in a clip of Vince McMahon yelling “Noo!”
Then, Thursday Night on the Late Show with David Letterman, Letterman said the moment when Mitt Romney starting going down was when Donald Trump endorsed him. They showed a clip from Wrestlemania where Trump laid out Vince McMahon. Letterman said “That’s the wrong clip!”
