Cage Matches At No Way Out PPV + Drew McIntyre Update

— With less than two weeks until WrestleMania 28, we are going to become insanely busy during the next few weeks. We realize a lot of you only visit the site on Monday and Tuesday for backstage RAW/SD news but you’ll want to check back in often as we head towards and beyond ‘Mania. There will likely be 35+ posts per day so if you want to keep up with all the backstage news, you’ll need to check back in numerous times on a daily basis. That includes the weekend, etc. Thanks for your continued support of the website. You guys are the best and we couldn’t do this without you!

— As noted earlier, the June No Way Out PPV will feature steel cage matches in the main events. All the shots in the promotional video at Tuesday night’s WWE SmackDown taping were steel cage matches.

— As noted before, Drew McIntyre wrestled Ezekiel Jackson in Newark, New Jersey tonight for a match to air on Thursday’s WWE Superstars.

McIntyre ended up getting the win – his first televised win in several weeks. After the match, McIntyre cut a promo and talked about how he was not going to lose again.

Triple H interrupted the promo and laid McIntyre out with a Pedigree before walking out. Our correspondents couldn’t tell if this segment was being filmed or not so we don’t know if it will air on WWE Superstars this week. Usually when Triple H appears mid-tapings and hits someone with a Pedigree it doesn’t air.
