Extra host Maria Menounous, who is supposed to wrestle with Kelly Kelly against Eve and Beth Phoenix at WrestleMania 28, is suffering from two broken ribs. She suffered the injury while training for Dancing with the Stars. Here is what she told Us Weekly…
“Once I get home, I get in a hot tub and in an Epsom salt bath. I can’t believe how dangerous dancing is! I told Derek, ‘I don’t understand! I played ice hockey, football, basketball — when did I get so fragile?’ Unfortunately the Hough’s too rough!”
WWE has not publicly acknowledged the injury, but if Menounous works the match, the odds are that she will not do much of anything physically.
