WWE prospect Ghent Wakefield is suing a hospital for hurting his chances of being a top star in WWE.
He began wrestling in 2009 and ruptured both biceps during a wrestling match four months after being offered a developmental contract. The University Hospital of North Staffordshire told Wakefield to let his biceps heal on their own.
Wakefield says that when he took a physical for WWE, doctors told him he should have had surgery after the injury. The hospital defend their decision, saying he “was unable to attend a number of appointments and this may have affected the speed at which the trust was able to aid his recovery.”
