Rey Mysterio Pulled From WWE Tour?, Phoenix Update, More

— Beth Phoenix tweeted the following today: “More tests. Fingers crossed.”

— Rey Mysterio was scheduled to tour with the WWE prior to his 60-day suspension for a violation of the Wellness Policy. He would have had shows on May 11 and May 12. There is no word on if he was pulled from the tour, but he probably will be, if it hasn’t already happened.

— Business Wire has revealed WWE’s quarterly dividend. The dividend is 12 cents per share for all Class A and B shares of common stock. The record date will be June 15, 2012 and the payment date will be June 25.

— Fight Club Chicago interviewed Ring of Honor’s Adam Cole, who said the company was more like UFC than WWE or TNA. He said: “Ring of Honor has this mindset to take it as far as it possibly can. With something like the UFC being as popular as it is, obviously pro wrestling and MMA are two different things. But Ring of Honor has more of that MMA feel in the sense of its all about competition and sport and great athletes and things like that. Its very popular in American culture right now. So I feel, if more people got to see Ring of Honor more people would maybe be interested in checking out our show instead of the WWE or Impact Wrestling.” He also talked about inspirational words from CM Punk.
